Home sales continue downward trend to close the summer
Home sales registered on the MLS® in Metro Vancouver declined 4.6 per cent compared to August last year, marking the end of a summer season that underperformed the summer of 2025.

The Fraser Valley housing market remained firmly in buyers’ territory in July
Fraser Valley home prices continued to edge downward in July, with the composite Benchmark price down 0.8 per cent from June and down seven per cent year-over-year. Despite improving affordability, buyers remained cautious, keeping sales well below typical seasonal levels.

Metro Vancouver home sales lose brief momentum
Home sales registered on the MLS® in Metro Vancouver declined nearly ten per cent last month relative to July last year, erasing the ten per cent gain seen in June that kicked off the summer.

Fraser Valley is becoming more affordable — but buyers are still holding back
